Philosophy and Approach:

As a Christian Counselor for the Northeast Oregon Compassion Center, I provide Solution-Focus Brief Therapy and Cognitive Behavior Therapy along with spiritual integration for individuals who desire to find positive solutions for change in their lives.

Education and Training:

I graduated with a Master’s of Divinity with an emphasis in Military Chaplaincy and a Masters of Arts in Human Services with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Counseling from Liberty University, Virginia in 2011 and 2013. I have additional training in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, crisis and grief response, suicide intervention, and Forgiveness Therapy.

As a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor 1 of the Addiction Counselor Certification Board of Oregon and a member of the American Association of Pastoral Counselors, I abide by their Code of Ethics. Code of Ethics To maintain my certification and membership I am required to participate in annual continuing education and classes dealing with subjects relevant to this profession.
